Upgrading Grimoire Pages
I have been wanting to put some finishing touches on some of the pages in my grimoire for a while… Now I have the chance to do that! And i can share the process with all of you too!

Adding Meaning to your Grimoire
There are so many ways you can add new layers of meaning to your grimoire. I really like to focus on a couple different aspects when deciding on how to spice up my spreads.
How much space do I have to work with?
Is there information I need to add to this page that I have learned since I first made the page?
What elemental or planetary/astrological energy do I want to add to the page?
What correspondences do I have with this energy and what craft supply can I use to represent that.
Based on what the answers are to these questions I am able to change what I do accordingly!
For example,
I updated a spread that was focused on breath-work and pranayama, I had a big chunk of space on the page to make a title for the spread, so i decided to use tissue paper to write a cloud-like bubble letter design of the word pranayama. This added the air element to the page which is fitting because it is all focused on the breath.The tissue paper is light and airy, also white. The lettering style looks like it is blown in on the wind, and the colors are white and blue, which i associate with the sky and the air!

Intention
Just make sure as you are adding this new layer of meaning to your page you are infusing it with the intention you want to add. If there is a song you associate with the meaning in your page, listen to that while working on it. Burn an incense to bring that meaning as well. Really, do anything that will help you to engage your senses and more importantly your presence in the process of journaling!
