April Plan With Me - Moon Phase Bullet Journaling

Hello Friends, its been a while! After the chaos of the end of march, I finally have a new computer and with that a better ability to make videos and blog posts!

Speaking of blog posts, I am so happy to be able to share this slightly belated April plan with me! I have been bullet journaling for about 6 or 7 years, so over that time I really found a system that worked for me. However, now that I am bullet journaling in my travelers notebook all that has changed. Thankfully I found a new system that fixes my slight annoyances and I share that with you in this monthly setup! Check out the setup in the video and post below!

The new setup consists of 2 spreads or 4 pages total! Its so simple and functional now that alot of my other information goes into the other signatures in my travelers notebook.

Calendar/Moon Phase Tasks

Monthly calendar and tasks with a bit of decorative paper on the edge of the page for easy reference plus star stamps!

This spread has a calendar and the most important page of my monthly spread, the moon phase task planner. I plan my tasks by the phases of the moon because my menstrual/hormonal cycle is synchronized with the moon right now. This means that there are certain tasks I do at certain times of the month based on my energy level and my skills at the time.

Tasks By The Moon Phase

First Quarter - Follicular - Spring

During the first quarter of the lunar cycle I focus on beginning new projects and doing what I planned in the past new moon. This often looks like me developing a plan of attack on a project and beginning to see that through.

Full Moon - Ovulation - Summer

During the full moon I focus on productivity and the most strenuous and outwardly active and physical tasks on my to do list. This phase ends up looking like me getting consumed in projects and loosing any sense of balance in my life. I find that I don’t eat as much in this phase just because it distracts me from what I am so deeply focused on.

Third Quarter - Luteal - Fall/Autumn

When the third quarter comes I begin to wind down and prepare for my low energy time, this means a lot of cleaning and general maintenance. I know that I get emotional before my menstruation so this helps me to prevent unneeded upset caused from me overreacting to simple annoying things. I also do alot of meal prep this time so I can have time to fully relax stress free during menstruation.

New moon - Menstruation - Winter

This is the phase in which I relax and rest my body. I even pamper myself with extra alone time, listening to my own needs and giving a lot less to others. I also give myself more grace to feel how I am feeling and to be present with that. I reflect on the last lunar cycle and based on how I emotionally feel, I plan my next month/cycle. I feel that my intuition is strongest in this phase so I really try to listen to this at this time.

While these specific tasks for the menstrual phase could work for you, keep in mind I designed this with my human design chart in mind. I am a projector with emotional authority. I am also a specific manifestor so I try to get as specific as I can with my plans. Knowing that about myself has helped me to devise a system that works well for me. If you want to learn more about your body and energy system I suggest you check out Jenna Zoes free Human Design Chart Generator . Her Chart is the pretties around, and while it may not give you all the details like Jovian Archive would, It is a starting point for sure.

Weekly Setup & Habit Tracker

the new simple weekly setup complete with habit tracker!

I have always had my weekly and my daily be the same thing, but now instead of having a monthly habit tracker I have one on my weekly page. I have now put a column on the right side of the spread to track all my wellness habits for the week. While this is slightly annoying to copy down each week, I find that easier than referencing the monthly setup throughout the day every day to tick my boxes. This system also keeps the habits in my face reminding me to do them whenever I’m feeling lackluster or aimless.

I loved using this green ink to write the days in an Uncial font! so fun! Ive been getting into calligraphy recently so this is forging my way into a more sustainable pen system that will one day only consist of fountain and dip pens! Until then I will use up my dual brush pens until they dry out!

All together I love my new style of monthly setup! Maybe this can help you to streamline your system if you need it.

And so it is!

With love,
